Justin’s journey into the world of body modification began with his apprenticeship back in 2005. While tattooing initially caught his eye, it was piercing that truly captivated him, a unique blend of anatomy, precision, and artistic expression that felt like a perfect fit. Over the years, his love for the craft evolved into a deep respect for the technical and aesthetic aspects of body piercing. Along the way, Justin has met countless incredible people and walked alongside many different versions of life. One of the things he loves most is now piercing the children of clients who first came to him when they were teenagers themselves. A full-circle moment that speaks to the trust and community he’s built over time.
His favourite piercing memory? Getting the chance to pierce Sam Elliott’s ears while the actor was in town filming, a moment that still brings a smile to his face.
In 2017, Justin turned his dream into reality by opening Golden Rose, a space built from the ground up to reflect his values of quality, care, and community. With now 20 years of experience, he is dedicated to carrying forward the detailed knowledge and techniques he’s gained, ensuring every piercing is done with care, expertise, and precision. Today, that same energy continues to shape the studio, which has grown into a trusted destination for both first-time clients and seasoned body modification collectors.

Outside of the studio, Justin rocks a few other important roles—most proudly, that of a dedicated dad. With three kids of his own, he’s often found on the sidelines coaching their youth soccer and football teams, staying deeply connected to his family and their communities.
